after FOUR WHOLE YEARS, LIL SIS is proud to be back at it with Hummingbird Open Mic, this month featuring Canadian house/hip-hop artist Sydanie (@sydanieee). all summer LIL SIS will be hosting our signature open mics for all of us to come together as a community after being apart for so long. feel the love and the hype on June 28th at Artscape Daniels Launchpad starting at 6PM EST. drop in, unaccompanied slots are available at the venue, day of.
in 2015, we started hosting hummingbird, a youth and community focused open mic in Regent Park. since then, we have hosted over 40 open mics!
house, hip-hop, rap, jazz, pop, r&b, rock, poetry, and beyond - you can even perform with a live band. all levels of experience and genres welcome, ESPECIALLY if its your first time. we provide free food, refreshments, and smiles.
