after FOUR WHOLE YEARS, LIL SIS is proud to be back at it with Hummingbird Open Mic. We are SO proud to share that our featured artist for this month is Tafari Anthony! LIL SIS will continue to host our signature open mics for all of us to come together as a community after being apart for so long. feel the love and the hype on Tuesday, October 25th at Artscape Launchpad, starting at 6PM EST. drop in, unaccompanied slots are available at the venue, day of. In the spirit of the spooky season, we encourage attendees to come in costume! We'll be awarding prizes to our best dressed!
in 2015, we started hosting hummingbird, a youth and community focused open mic in Regent Park. since then, we have hosted over 40 open mics!
house, hip-hop, rap, jazz, pop, r&b, rock, poetry, and beyond - you can even perform with a live band. all levels of experience and genres welcome, ESPECIALLY if its your first time. we provide free food, refreshments, and smiles.
